PGHS Spring Dance Showcase will be May 10th at 6 PM in the High School Auditorium.
The admission fee is $3 (pay at the door).
NJSLA testing starts April 30, 2024, for 3rd- 11th graders.
1. Absolutely no personal devices for test-taking; it is considered a security breach.
2. Please have your student(s) bring their Chromebooks (inside cases) to school fully charged, along with their charger and earbuds or headphones.

Dear PGCPRSD Families,
The district needs the new Acceptable Use Policy signed to provide the students at PGCP with the most up-to-date technology policies. The form is in your Genesis parent portal and you will receive an email when it is available. Each student requires a separate form to be acknowledged by 3/15/24 to keep their Chromebooks and online access. Your Genesis portal and your student's Genesis portal will be locked until the form is completed. If you have not received the email by Friday, 3/8/24, or cannot log into the portal, please contact your child's school for assistance.

As of today, February 21, 2024, the district will no longer be able to supply loaner Chromebooks or chargers to those students who have forgotten or lost their devices and chargers at home or elsewhere. We will only provide a loaner if the Chromebook is broken and needs a repair that will last longer than a day.

Please be advised that there have been changes to the 2023-2024 assessment schedule. The WIDA Access for English Language Learners assessment will be administered from February 26, 2024 through March 15, 2024. If you have questions or concerns please contact the district test coordinator, Mr. Pszwaro at (856) 299-6300 x3240. Thank you.
Dear parents and staff,
I always receive a lot of questions on what exactly it means when the Governor declares a “State of Emergency”. Many think that it means no one is allowed on the highways and all non-essential businesses must close, including schools, but that is not the case.
The Governor's declaration authorizes him to “speed State agency assistance to communities in need. It enables him to make resources immediately available to rescue, evacuate, shelter, provide essential commodities (i.e., heating fuel, food, etc.), and quell disturbances in affected localities. It may also position the State to seek federal assistance when the scope of the event exceeds the State's resources.”
It is the Office of Emergency Management that has the authority to declare a State of Emergency that could result in the closing of businesses, schools, etc., and restrictions on travel such as occurred with Hurricane Sandy. Therefore, when an announcement is broadcast that the Governor has declared a State of Emergency, that does not necessarily mean that schools will automatically be closed. That is a local decision unless otherwise mandated by the Office of Emergency Management. The attached document articulates the difference between the two.
